I travel to you
In every Yoga Portrait Session, I aim to capture one's intimate connection with the practice of yoga. Whether you are a yoga instructor, studio owner, a yogi or yogini, display your own photos on your website, social media site, business cards, and flyers.
With my 'teacher's eye', I can help you make adjustments in postures that other photographers might miss. I can easily make suggestions for poses, variations, and placement for hands.
You may consider
-
Having photographs to document workshops and events at your studio for your website
-
Updating your "teacher bios" with a photo of each instructor
-
Holding a contest with your studio and having a Yoga Portrait Session as a prize
-
Giving a Yoga Portrait Session as a gift
Below you'll find a selection of portraits of yoga teachers, yoga therapists, and studio owners in the metro Atlanta area.

Lisa with No Boundaries Yoga Therapy
I first met Lisa at one of my Pranakriya Yoga Therapy training weekends. Her gift of both physical therapy and yoga therapy are truly changing lives in her community. Connect with her on her No Boundaries Facebook page.

Rachel with Rachel Stroud Yoga
Admist the infamous Red Rocks in Colorado, it was an absolute treat to photograph my dear friend Rachel as she begins her journey as a yoga instructor in the Denver area. And how special to have her littlest one along for the shoot.

Lauren with Lauren Reese Yoga
Lauren has been known for her expertise in Yoga for Athletes. She's a phenomenal resource for group sports teams and professional athletes. She has a way of weaving benefits of yoga in ways that help to increase the performance of the specific sport. Check out her website www.laurenreeseyoga.com.

Dayna with New Day Yoga
Capturing Dayna at her home yoga studio in Kennesaw, Georgia was an absolute treat. Dayna and New Day Yoga hold yoga classes, workshops, and teacher trainings sharing the gift of yoga through a Christian perscpective.

Rebecca with Mother-to-Mother
I first met Rebecca at one of our Pranakriya yoga training modules. You cannot help but feel welcomed by her presence. Her experience as a massage therapist, yoga teacher, and yoga therapist make her a truly remarkable woman.
You can learn more about her offerings as founder of Mother-to-Mother here on her website.

Rebecca with YogaSelah
I had the pleasure of photographing Rebecca Thurmond (ERYT 200, RYT 500) of YogaSelah. Rebecca has an amazing heart and vision for bringing yoga to her local community. She is a gentle and knowledgeable teacher, paying close attention to the needs of all of her students. Her studio is an oasis from the busyness of life, and I highly recommend those in the Cumming, Georgia area pay her a visit.

Peggy with Breathe Yoga Atlanta
Peggy is another kind and generous woman with big dreams for sharing yoga with others. Just being near her warms your soul, and you cannot help but enjoy her company. She opened Breathe Yoga Atlanta in Cumming, Georgia with her daughter Lauren in early 2013, and her studio has been welcomed with open arms.

Lauren with Breathe Yoga Atlanta
Lauren and Breathe was the first yoga home I found after temporarily moving to back to my hometown. Every time I visit, Lauren has a smile on her face and laughter in her heart. Aside from teaching adults, she does some amazing work teaching yoga to children with themed series and camp during the summer.
